COVID 19 UPDATE/INFORMATION

In the recent weeks we have seen and noticed not only the human effects of COVID 19 but the economic effects as well. We have also seen the best in each other.

We see it in first responders, nurses, grocery clerks and all clerks and sanitation workers. Thank you to everyone who is doing their part to keep things moving during these times.

Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by COVID-19, either directly or indirectly.

We would like to share what we have been doing to play our part as a part of this global community to keep things moving forward

Trans-Continental Textile Recycling Ltd. continues this forward movement by maintaining and complying with Government of Canada and Provincial Health Ministry standards of distance and awareness and utilizing only a specialized team of processors. All employees are equipped with masks and gloves and maintain adequate social distance from donors and internal staff. Employees that are not feeling well are required to stay home.

All collection routes are operated by individual drivers who ensure maximum awareness when servicing

We are currently also running a clothing drive fundraiser to support Surrey Food Bank. Donors can donate their clean and dry clothes and shoes at our facility located at 13120 78A Ave, Surrey.

People can drive to the bins in our parking lot from Monday to Friday between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm and deposit their bags directly in the bins.

During these times let's all do our part to help the communities we live in and continue moving forward with a positive impact
